Company valuations
The valuation of companies is a service aimed at providing a professional opinion on their market value.
The aim is to provide a comprehensive valuation of the business and, therefore, of the total value of all the assets associated with the business. It is usually carried out during operation, but it is also analysed in the run-up to or before liquidation. At Tecnitasa we also carry out valuations of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises).”
The purposes of a business valuation report are varied:
- Search for liquidity: IPOs, loans with financial guarantees, sale of shares, debt restructuring.
- Corporate conflicts: successions, separation, exclusion of minority shareholders, regulatory proceedings.
- Strategic: divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, value-based compensation, expansion plans.
- Taxes: determination of capital gains or losses on the sale of shares, deferral guarantee.
- Accounting: impairment tests.
